Two projects chosen for the Future of Health Grant

Two innovative initiatives from the Défi Source have been selected among the eight projects shortlisted for the Future of Health Grant (FoHG), a programme to accelerate innovation in the field of connected health, supported by the CSS and the EPFL Innovation Park. These projects are among the few selected from 213 international applications, demonstrating their impact and potential.

Même Pas Peur: Making life easier for families affected by childhood diabetes

Même Pas Peur is a non-profit start-up whose mission is to reduce the burden of chronic diseases in children. In its current version, which emerged from the Défi Source and is supported by H4, ‘Diabète, Même Pas Peur!’ offers an innovative platform to quickly and effectively raise awareness among those caring for a child with type 1 diabetes. In just 30 minutes, thanks to personalised information for each child, teachers, relatives and babysitters can acquire the knowledge they need to manage diabetes. This innovative project meets an important need for families.

StudentsPool: connecting students and healthcare providers

The StudentsPool platform is revolutionising the way students and healthcare organisations work together. By facilitating short-term work assignments, it offers students new opportunities that go beyond simple remuneration, while meeting the needs of institutions looking for one-off reinforcement. This model fills a gap in the market, bringing flexibility and innovation to the healthcare sector.

Decisive support from H4

The FoHG has awarded these two projects CHF 10,000 in funding and three months of intensive support. Their selection by the FoHG illustrates once again the impact of Défi Source and H4’s support for innovation: transforming promising ideas into concrete, applicable solutions and guiding them on the path to success.

The Future of Health Grant highlights innovations that are transforming connected health. By providing funding, mentoring and access to a network of expertise, it supports projects that are shaping the future of digital health. With projects such as Même Pas Peur and StudentsPool, Swiss innovation continues to demonstrate its excellence and commitment to more inclusive and connected healthcare.
