Problem to solve

Running a hospital operating room in a streamlined and optimized way is a difficult task. Current limitations in technologies and processes increase costs. Many instruments, even if unused, require setup and sterilization. For example, optimizing two neurosurgical procedures could save up to $2.8 million annually. Surgeon wait time, due to setup errors or missing equipment, accounts for 9.1% of surgery time. High staff turnover, at 10.7%, and lengthy training periods reduce efficiency. Without dedicated studies, it is difficult to optimize efficiency, undertake major projects, or implement modern reimbursement models.

Proposed solution

Evidone SA specializes in data collection and exploitation for instrument detection, staff presence, and surgical phase tracking. Utilizing sensors and AI, this technology provides critical benefits to operating, sterilization, and administrative teams: instrument tray integrity, dynamic checklists, optimal room configuration, automatic usage information, reliable time measurements, precise cost management, intraoperative support, instant documentation, and predictive planning—all fully automatic and scalable.

Request to H4

We seek H4's assistance in validating the value proposition based on the pilot version of our system. Additionally, we would like to collaborate on the various use cases of the system in a hospital setting and the emerging features of this new technology.
